EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Nicholas T. "Nick" Turkaly, 64, of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Nick was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on November 11, 1961, a son of the late Nicholas J. and Dolores A. "Turk" (Smyers) Turkaly. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1980. Nick worked as a plumber for Sanford and Sons and JP Plumbing. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and East Liverpool Elks. Nick was an avid fan of Ohio State and all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. Most importantly, he was a loving father and brother.

Preceding Nick in death was his brother Dale A. Turkaly.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons Nicholas Turkaly and Parke Turkaly; three sisters Cathy Turkaly, Lisa Turkaly and Dana Merriman; two nieces Danielle Woods and Amber Childers and four nephews Thomas Woods, Jeremy Witherow, Heath Witherow and Josh Turkaly.

Friends may visit Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 1 to 6 p.m.
