Nondis A. Boyd Miller Kiger, 88

EAST LIVERPOOL – Nondis A. Boyd Miller Kiger, of Glenmoor, passed away at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 88.

Born in Coshocton, Ohio, August 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Blake E. and Kerene K. Overholt Boyd. She was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1953 and attended St. Luke's University in Cleveland. Nondis was a Registered Nurse where she was associated with East Liverpool City Hospital and Ohio Valley Home Health Services for many years until her retirement. A longtime member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Faith Circle. She enjoyed square dancing with the Crosstrailers and the Tri-State Squares. She also loved to travel – across the country with her first husband Keith on a motorcycle, and she and Joe loved to take cruises all over the world.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, R. Keith Miller, in 1998. She was also preceded by a granddaughter, Emily Ann West and a grandson, Stephen Michael Moore.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kiger, at home. There are three children: a daughter, Abbie Milner (Bob), of New Cumberland, and two sons, Clark Miller (Lynn), of East Liverpool, and Craig Miller (Mary), of Canfield. Six grandchildren survive: T. Blake West (Rebekah), Amanda Tinken (Travis), Chris Miller, Aaron West, Craig Miller (Ashley), and Derick West (Zaeda).

Pastor Ian Leyda of Longs Run Trinity Presbyterian Church will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
