Rachel M. White, 47

Calcutta, Ohio — Rachel M. White of Calcutta passed away Friday, August 7, 2026, at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 47 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, Rachel was the beloved daughter of Michael Hughes (Liz) and the late Linda Hughes. She adored her family and cherished the time she spent with those she loved. A woman of deep and unwavering faith, Rachel found strength and hope in her faith throughout her courageous battle with cancer.

Rachel was known for her kindness, selflessness, and natural ability to lead. She was 1996 graduate of Beaver Local High School. She had a compassionate heart and dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in healthcare as an EMT and CNA. Her desire to help others was a true reflection of the caring person she was.

In addition to her mother, Linda Hughes, and her grandparents, Rachel was preceded in death by her beloved dogs, Frenchie Fry and Tator Tot, and her bird, Woody.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William White; her son, Andrew Dennis; her daughter, Isabella White; sisters, Alisha Doneff (Brandon) and Heather Brown (Bryan); and her brother Michael Hughes (Nikki). She also leaves her aunt, Judi Adkins; nieces, Madison Hughes, Aubrey Brown, and Nerys Hughes; her dogs Susie Q and Frankie Boy; her cat, Veruca Salt; and birds, Petey, BB (Blueberry), and Raj.

Pastor Court Riddle will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Yeshua Assembly of God.
