Ralph C. Reed, 77

KISSIMMEE, FL – Ralph C. Reed, of Davenport, Florida, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital. He was 77.

Born in Weirton, West Virginia, October 11, 1944, he was a son of the late Ralph C. Reed, Sr. and Laverne Everly Reed. He graduated from Kent State University with an engineering degree and later earned an Honorary Business Degree in Executive Management from Stanford University. He worked as an executive for Dow Corning Corporation. Ralph was a member of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool.

He was preceded by his wife, Barbara A. Brown Reed, on October 20, 2015. The couple married July 1, 1967. Together they had two children: a daughter, Amy Reed of Poland, and a son, Gregory Reed and his wife, Heather, of Orlando, Florida along with one granddaughter Zoey Reed of Orlando. He is also survived by Randy Hedlund and his wife, Becky, and Amanda Rains and her husband, Danny, whom Ralph considered family.

Friends may visit from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Knisely of the First United Methodist will conduct a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, at Riverview Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
