Robert B. Easterday, 89

GLENMOOR – Robert B. Easterday, of Glenmoor, passed away Monday morning, November 18, 2024, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 89 years old.

Born June 6, 1935, he was a son of the late George and Gladys Easterday. Raised in East Liverpool, he graduated from East Liverpool High School with the Class of 1953 and then attended the Pittsburgh Art Institute. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and returned to the area where he worked for the former People's Gas Company. Following his retirement, Bob began a 28-year career as a bus driver at Beaver Local Schools.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna L. Montgomery Easterday, in 2013. The couple married on December 24, 1959. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice, and two brothers, Neil and Lawrence.

He is survived by a daughter, Kim Easterday and her companion, Greg Logan, of Glenmoor, and a son, Bruce Easterday and his wife, Clara, of Wellsville. There are five grandchildren, Christian, Kylee, Cora, Hannah, and Sierra, and five great-grandchildren.

Pastor Court Riddle will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
