EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Robert Thompson, 79, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at Hospice House.

Robert was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 31, 1944 a son of the late Walter J. and Harriet F. (Johansen) Thompson, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Marines proudly serving during the Vietnam War. Robert was a truck driver for Falcon Trucking.

Preceding Robert in death was his wife Darla R. (Dunmyre) Thompson; sister Harriet Lazarus; three brothers Walter J. Thompson, Jr., William R. Thompson and Kenneth R. Thompson and brother-in-law Robert Lewis.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister Barbara Lewis; granddaughter Sara Katona; three great grandchildren Christopher Katona, Faith Brewer and Serenity Krotzer; two sisters-in-law Deanne Thompson and Laurette Thompson; brother-in-law Bud Lazarus and many nieces and nephews.

A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
