Obituary

Robin G. Pusateri, 69

EAST LIVERPOOL – Robin G. Pusateri, of Calcutta, passed away suddenly Thursday, October 1, 2026. She was 69 years old.

Robin was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Beaver Local High School Class of 1975. She continued her education at Kent State University, earning her teaching degree. Robin dedicated her professional life to education, teaching Language Arts and Life Skills at Beaver Local. She retired from teaching in 2007 after 17 ½ years of service when her first grandchild was born.

Robin was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals for her family. She treasured her role as a grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She also had a special love for dogs and traveling, especially to Aruba.

On June 21, 1975, Robin married Michael J. Pusateri Jr., and together they shared 51 years of marriage.

Left to cherish Robin's memory are her husband, Michael; her children, Ashley Pusateri McNear (Brad), Jason Pusateri (Tara), and Matthew Pusateri (Natalie); and her seven grandchildren, Austin Steckman, Sydney McNear, Nathan Pusateri, Brady McNear, Tessa Pusateri, Carsyn Pusateri, and Ellie Pusateri.

She is also survived by her brother, Donald K. Maltarich (Amy) of North Carolina, and her niece and nephew, Halle and Sawyer Maltarich.

Robin will be remembered for her dedication to her students, her love of family, her wonderful cooking, and most of all, the tremendous joy she found in being a wife, mother and "GiGi".
