YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Samantha J. Pearson Carter, 51, of Youngstown passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

Samantha was born in East Liverpool, Ohio July 8, 1971. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 89, Ohio Valley Business College and Kaplan University.

Preceding Samantha in death were her father George Welch; mother Dorothy Pearson; sister GeAnnie Wright and nephew Zachary Wright.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Autumn Pearson, DeMetrius Pearson and his wife Shardae, Nicholas Kirkland, Donovan Gillison and Jeffery Gillison; six grandchildren Shana Pearson, Alaina Pearson, Mateo Minor, Oliviana Standard, Brynleigh Gillison and Michael Doucette, Jr.; sister Alexandrea Temple and her husband David; brother Lincoln Pearson and many nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Samantha's life will be held at a later date at the Dawson Funeral Home.
