Sandy L. Barrett, 82

Canton, Ohio — Sandy L. Barrett, 82, formerly of Lisbon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at The Pavilion at Edgefield, surrounded by her family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Charles William "Bill" Millhorn and Alma Rudibaugh Millhorn. Sandy was a dedicated homemaker. She was known for her headstrong nature, spirited personality, and steadfast determination. Independent and resilient, she faced life on her own terms and left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Barrett Jr., and her son, Mark Barrett.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Montgomery, and her husband, Steve; her grandson, Noah Barrett; two step-grandchildren, Matthew Montgomery and his wife, Blayna, and Tiffany Montgomery and her husband, Bret; and five step-great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
