Scott Eric Moffett, 50

EAST LIVERPOOL – Scott Eric Moffett, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday evening, March 9, 2024, at UPMC Mercy Hospital following a nine-month battle with cancer. He was 50.

Born in Delaware, Ohio, January 2, 1974, he was a son of Patricia Ann Davis Moffett of East Liverpool and the late Earl William "Buster" Moffett II. A resident of this area most of his life, he was a member of the Beaver Local High School Class of 1992. He worked as a mechanic and carpenter, as well as flooring installation.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children: Brandon Moffett and his wife, Cristen, of Wellsville, Ryan Moffett of East Palestine, and Chelsea Moffett of Salem, as well as two grandchildren, Janae and Jamie Moffett. He is also survived by two sisters, Amy Sonntog and her husband, Randy, of Lisbon, and Stacey Armstrong and her husband, Will, of Georgia.

Friends may visit Friday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
