Shirley A. Wooley, 70

EAST LIVERPOOL – Shirley A. Wooley, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday morning, February 29, 2024, at Valley Oaks Care Center. She was 70.

Born in Canton, Ohio, June 24, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Carl Benjamin Young, Sr. and Hazel Marie Rose Young. A resident of this area most of her life, she attended Beaver Local High School. She loved and missed her animals, especially her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Wooley, on November 12, 2008. She was also preceded by two sisters, Sharen Stanley and Jean Moore, and two brothers, Carl "Youngen" Young, Sr. and Joe Smitha.

Shirley is survived by a sister, Barbara Ours of East Liverpool, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 4th at the Dawson Funeral Home.
