CALCUTTA, OHIO – Tonya A. "Tonnie" Slagle, 66, of Calcutta passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2024 at her home.

Tonya was born July 13, 1957 in East Liverpool a daughter of the late Willis "Hilly" and Harriet A. (Hager) Slagle.

Tonnie loved flowers, boating and shopping online. She loved animals especially cats. Tonnie enjoyed going out to eat and trying new foods. She attended Boyce Church. Tonnie was a member of TOPS where she served as a leader and Choose to Lose Group at Boyce Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two sisters Cassy Stephens and her husband John and Pam Fouse and her husband Donald; three nephews Donny Fouse and his wife Tracey, Derrick Fouse and his wife Kiara and John Stephens; two great nephews Chase Fouse and Luke Fouse; three great nieces Gracie Fouse, Alana Fouse and Lilly Fouse; step great nephew Tyler Murphy and step great niece Kailyn Murphy; cousin Mary Lou Hager and good friends Barb Drane and Virginia Shaw.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday where the family will be present from 1 to 4 p.m. Rev. Alvin Talkington will conduct a service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
