Vickie Lynn Cox, 71

EAST LIVERPOOL – Vickie Lynn Cox, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday morning, December 18, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was 71.

Born in Tennessee, October 13, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Mary Howell. She was raised in Aliquippa, graduated from Hopewell High School, and later moved to this area where she worked as a nurse's aide. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her life. If you knew Vickie you knew she was a very generous and kind person. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We love you with all our heart and soul.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Cox.

She is survived by four daughters, Adele Gibas, Rebecca McCauley, Janet Glenn, and Amanda Orin and her husband, Ray. There are five grandchildren, Cole Orin, Raegan Orin, Jennifer Slasor, Jay Slasor and Khloe Skringar. She also leaves two sisters, Sandra Potts and Joyce Wilson, and a brother, Richard Potts, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mike Gibas.

Arrangements have been conducted by the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
