Mrs. Madge Blankenship, 80, of East Liverpool died at 8:59 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester.
Born June 27, 1931, in Toronto, Ohio, a daughter of the late William D. and Ida Price, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Toronto High School in 1948.
She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Blankenship, whom she married October 26, 1951.
Also surviving is a son, Robert G. Blankenship II and his wife, Debbie, of East Liverpool.
There are four grandchildren, Abby Blankenship of Pittsburgh, Pa, Evan Blankenship of Columbus, Oh, Erin Solack and her husband, Cal of Columbus, Oh and Lara Blankenship of Columbus, Oh.
A sister, Dorothy Ringleman, of Fairborn, Ohio, also survives along with a daughter-in-law, Paula Blankenship of Center, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Bruce Blankenship; two sisters, Georgia Ebbinghouse and Lillian “Lynne” Brown; and a brother, William D. Price.
Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home with Tim Martin officiating. Friends may visit Monday at the funeral home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center following the services.
