Obituary for Timothy David Duke

Timothy David “Timmy” Duke, 30, of Homewood Avenue passed away Thursday, September 4th, 2014 at 5:55 a.m. at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.

Born June 29th, 1984 at East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of Lora Lynn Marker of Austintown, Ohio and Timothy G. Duke of East Liverpool.

He spent most of his life in this area with the exception of a few years in Jacksonville, Florida and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Oakland Free Methodist Church, was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he learned to constructively rail against the constraints of art theory and the principles of modern art. He was a local artist working in the field of graphic design.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one son, Sidney Icarus Morris of Morningside, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Tamara Lynn Johnson and her husband, Alan of Austintown, and Amanda Mitchell Bowers and her husband, Gary of Niles, Ohio; and one brother, Terry “Stew” Stewart II of East Liverpool.

In addition, he leaves behind three nieces, Delia Rowan Mitchell, Clara Lucille Stewart, and Illeanna Mae Bowers; and one nephew, Elias Harper Stewart.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
