Obituary for Charles Edward Jordan

Charles E. Jordan passed away at the age of 75 at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville.

A son of the late Merle and Addie Brown Jordan, Chuck was born in Chester, WV on August 21, 1939. A 1957 graduate of East Liverpool High School, he was an avid bowler in his spare time.

He had owned Jordan’s Sohio station at the corner of Mulberry Street and Pennsylvania Ave., and later became a maintenance manager at the Mountaineer Race Track.

Chuck is survived by one brother Richard Jordan, and his wife JoAnn, of Florida. In addition, two nephews survive, Greg Jordan, and his wife Diane, of Louisiana, and Jeff Jordan, and his wife JoAnn, of New Hampshire, as well as one great-nephew Joel Jordan.

He will be laid to rest in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
