The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of J. Jackson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Dr. Clement Cahall

Dr. Jackson was so many things to so many people, it is hard for me to imagine how his family, his friends and his community will get by without him. For me he was a mentor, a friend and a role model. I am forever grateful to Fraser for the opportunity he gave me to serve the community he held so dear and try to fill his shoes. Although I have not yet succeeded, I learned from Dr. Jackson that as long as you keep trying, all things are possible. To this day, my greatest honor as a physician was the privilege Dr. Jackson allowed me as his doctor to serve him as he served so many during his long and wonderful life. That he allowed me that privilege until the very end is an honor that shall never be surpassed. He was not only a superhuman physicians, but a model patient. As in life, Dr. Jackson passed with the grace and dignity few of us can muster on our best days. I am consoled, as I hope his loved ones are, by the knowledge that such a great man will live long in our hearts and if we follow his example, we will again sit by his side and feel the peace and love that exuded from Dr. Jackson's warm smile and healing touch.
