Obituary for Tracy L Vollberg (Vollberg)

TRACY LYNN VOLLBERG, 44

MARANA, AZ – Tracy Lynn Vollberg, who was born in East Liverpool on December 17, 1970, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her home in Marana, Arizona, with her family at her side. She was 44.

A daughter of the late Thomas G. Vollberg and Dianna Vollberg of East Liverpool, and Karen and Tom Johnson of Chester, she moved to Arizona at a young age and was graduated from Independent High School in Glendale. She later received a degree in Phlebotomy.

Known as a loving mother, she cared for her children as well as her husband of 17 years, Armando Lugo, who survives her at home. Tracy also leaves behind a daughter and two sons: Kaeli Lugo of Marana; Steven Vollberg of Chester; and Ryan Vollberg, also of Chester. Another daughter, Janae Lugo, preceded Tracy in death.

Also surviving is a sister, Jodi Shaw and her husband, Paul, of East Liverpool, and five brothers: Thomas E. Vollberg and his wife, Alice, of Chester; James E. Wolfe and his wife, Tammie, of East Liverpool; Richard J. Wolfe and his wife, Christie, also of East Liverpool; Troy J. Vollberg and his wife, Autumn, of Globe, Arizona; and Travis C. Vollberg and his wife, Angela, of East Liverpool. Her grandmothers, Gladys Vollberg of Columbus, and Grace Rice of Chester, also survive, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her father and her daughter, Tracy was preceded by her grandfather, Edward Vollberg, as well as her uncle, Edward G. Vollberg.

A memorial service to celebrate Tracy’s life will take place Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary LeMasters officiating. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service Friday.

Tracy will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park, followed by a gathering at the Salvation Army for a continued time of fellowship and remembrance.
