The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Taylor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

When I was 6 years old

The first time I met Uncle Charles I was 6 years old. We moved from Jersey & lived in the white house beside his with my Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop. He brought my sister & I paper barbie dolls to play with. I giggle at that now because of how modern our world is. I dont think they make the paper ones anymore. just the magnetic ones.lol He visited often being as he was my paps brother. He would bring us candy & we would sit at his house with him & Aunt Corabell & do puzzles. He was always there for me. Took me to a few appointments when needed. Picked me up from school when I was sick. He took me to my first science fair I was in. But more then any of that he was like a mentor growing up along side my Pop-Pop. He was a person you could rely on no matter what. I grew up in his church & was raised close to most of our family. I'll never forget what a wonderful man he was on earth & I know he'll be in heaven. As much as I'm sad, I feel a sense of peace with him. He's loving his new home & meeting his wife, brothers & parents at those gates of heaven. I love you all Taylor Family!!!
