Carol Elaine Broadsword, 64

EAST LIVERPOOL – Carol Elaine Broadsword, of 7th Avenue LaCroft in East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, April 7, 2018 at the East Liverpool City Hospital. She was 64.

Born in Steubenville, November 12, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Betty Clark Reynolds. A resident of this area for many years, she was a graduate of Beaver Local High School.

Carol was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending quality time with her family outdoors, and helping her husband remodel several homes.

She is survived by her husband Warren M. Broadsword whom she married in 1994. Carol has four children; Michael Baldwin, Kevin Reynolds, (children Lynzie, Alysha, Mikayla, Blake, Kayden, & Kayzlee) Barbara Boyd and her husband Donald, (children Josh, Donovan, & Caitlyn) and Randy Reynolds, (children Randy Jr. and Sierra) all of East Liverpool. There are 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren Jaymie & Lillian.

Carol is also survived by a sister Juanita Adams, and her husband Don, of East Liverpool, and a brother Gordon Springer, and his wife Tammy of Folkville, Alabama.

In addition to her parents Carol is preceded by siblings Darrel Reynolds, Jerri Champ and Myrl Reynolds.

Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m. Rev. Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
