Obituary for Dorothy J. Tarbuck (Haugh)

Dorothy J. “Dotty” Haugh Tarbuck entered the gates of glory at11:37 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Medical Center in Beaver. She was 64.

Born March 16, 1950 in East Liverpool Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lou Haugh. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1968. Dotty worked at Horsley Studios for three years upon graduation, she worked at the billing office of the Hall China Company for two years and then at the former Hills Department Store for nine years. She also volunteered for Hospice of the Valley and was an associate chaplain at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was a member of the Destiny House Church where she was a greeter, taught a Bible study class for over 20 years and assisted with Kingdom Kupboard.

She leaves behind her dear husband, David Tarbuck, whom she married in 1990. She also leaves her beloved son, Stephen Young, and his wife Misty, of Wellsville, as well as her three grandchildren, Tabitha Lee, Savannah Grace and Stevie Nevaeh Young. Other survivors include her brother Tom Haugh, her two much loved dogs Jellyroll and Daisy and her best friends Cheryl Copestick and Kathryn Walrath along with countless loyal friends.

Pastor Cody Berry will conduct a funeral service at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery followed by a continued time of fellowship at the Destiny House Church.
