She loved the simple things in life like taking time to enjoy a warm summer day at the tubs in Fredericktown.

Above all things in life, she loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Philip Balmenti, at home. The couple married July 20, 1996. She also leaves behind a daughter, Lindsey Balmenti of Rogers, along with a son, Steven Watters of Lisbon, and a step-daughter, Hope Thrasher of Pitsburgh, and a step-son, Joshua Balmenti of East Liverpool, as well as a grandson, Triston Watters.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Duane Owens and a sister, Dorothy Eadra Owens.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rogers United Methodist Church Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. where Pastor Pat Lintella will conduct the service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church following the service for a time of continued fellowship and remembrance.
