Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Shirley Green can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Friendship

I first met Shirley when I became a Trustee of the East Liverpool Historical Society.  She was very welcoming and as I got to know her better, she impressed me as a hard worker, devoted to her town and the Historical Society.  She was someone you could count on to come up with interesting suggestions and always followed through when she committed to do something.  I visited her a couple of times in a couple of nursing homes and then lost track of her over the past year of so and felt badly about not knowing where she was being cared for.  I was sorry to find she had passed away but know her suffering is at an end and wish her family well and fond memories of Shirley.  I ask Ann Wickam to contact me at harkermate@comcast.net as I've lost her address for sending the Historical Society Newsletter.  Your mom was a great lady and I will miss her.
