Sonia S. Giovenco, 95
Dyersburg, TN – Sonia S. Giovenco, 95, of Fort Hudson Drive in Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:30 p.m. at the Tennova Regional Health Care Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph Giovenco.
Surviving is her son, Sydney Giovenco, and his wife Betty, of Escanaba, MI, and her two daughters, Rosie Ramey, with whom she resided, of Dyersburg, TN, and her late husband, Bobby J. Ramey, Sr., and Anna Leganski, and her husband Kenneth, of Oswego, IL. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sonia was preceded by one sister.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Fr. Peter Haladej of the Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Catholic Church will preside at Catholic Funeral Rites to be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Sonia will be laid to rest in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
