The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Taylor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

:real Christian"

I have known the preacher all of my life and I have alot of memories. He was what I can call a real Christian, nothing phony about his messages. You could tell how much he cared for you, taking time to call and invite you to church or the numerous times he would stop at my house on Sunday afternoons and invite us. You always knew when you called him and asked for a prayer or for him to visit someone in th hospital he was going to do it, whether he knew that person or not. He also helped me on other occassions with prodjects around the house, he knew how to do everything. You could see in his sermons and his alter calls that he really cared about your soul, you could see it on his face.  He tried so hard to get people's attention, never wanting to give up on you.  Always one more verse or Lord  I'm coming home, or almost persueded.he never quit.  He will be missed by many here but he is now where he was working so hard to be.
