at the river

I loved when Freda and I were much younger and I would patiently wait for the phone to ring and asked if I was ready to go to the river and go boating.. Uncle Fred would so proudly stand and sit while steering the boat..After a while we would pull in at the dock in Wellsville and run up over the hill to Dairy Queen .

We would sit at the front of the boat catching some rays.

He was one heck of a man and was always ready for that big hug .. I will see you again one day. Until then Uncle. Fred keep the boat running. Until then remember how much you are loved and will make all the angel smile.
