The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Taylor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Gentle Shepherd

Brother Taylor was no doubt the most tender hearted person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Whenever the faithfulness of God was mentioned, whether to him or someone else, he would always shed tears. I will so miss that! Other people have commented on the sweet old gentleman crying at a service they had attended somewhere. He was also a true shepherd. His loyalty and faithfulness to his congregation went far beyond the norm in the day in which we live. He took his calling seriously and felt it a privilege to be God's hand extended to a lost and dying world. His love for Jesus was demonstrated daily in his love and compassion for people. We will never forgot the wonderful memories we shared traveling to Penn View school auction and The Creation Museum or just hanging out at the house taking and laughing....Remember family and friends, our loss is heaven's gain and I for one intend to sit down and enjoy fellowship with him again. He would always tell Cinda to show me the newest video of Vivi and tell me how smart she is. How blessed each child, grandchild, and great grandchild, is to share in the heritage of such a spirit filled man of God! His love for his family was only surpassed by his love for God! You will be greatly missed by all Brother Taylor! I will see you soon!
