Born in East Liverpool, August 6, 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph W. and Margaret L. “Peg” Lyle Ross. A resident of this area all his life, he was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1967. For 30 years he worked at Homer Laughlin China Company. At one time he was very active with the East Liverpool High School Band Boosters.

He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Alice Ann Connelly Ross, at home. The couple married April 17, 1971. A daughter survives, Christina Webber and her husband, Cole, of Salem, Ohio, as well as four grandchildren: Kaitlyn “Katie” McCrea and her husband, Chayse, Travis Smith, Mason Webber and Chloe Webber. There are two sisters, Patricia Honaker and her husband, Tim, of East Liverpool, and Carolyn Curcio of Arizona.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Michelle Ross, and a brother, George J. Ross.

My condolences go out to the family. I went to school with and was a friend of Mike from Westgate through East Liverpool High School graduating in the class of 1967. We were both in Projection Club. It was always nice to have lunch with Mike and Alice everytime I made it back "home" to East Liverpool from California. Mike will be missed, but he is pain free and in a better place now in the hands of Jesus Christ.
