Genuine friend

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Frances Lee at Fall-Hamilton Elementary School twenty years ago. She was an example of a loving and compassionate teacher and I admired her greatly. Luckily, she and our friend Debbie Ladd remained very close in their retirement and spent lots of time together, so our "Debbie" connection kept us connected. The last time we were together at an outing was this past Christmas at a Christmas lights tour our friend Debbie shared with us (picture attached). It was so fun and Frances had a great time being with lots of long time friends and her daughter that night.

Frances and I did not see each other on a regular basis, but when we saw each other it was like no time had passed. She was a truley genuine person and friend. Even thought the times we had together weren't always lengthy, they were packed with much love and "real" conversation. We shared our love for Christ and we knew we could be open and honest about that relationship with each other. I will be forever grateful to God for putting Frances in my life and for using her to show me His love, grace and strength. She is greatly missed.
